Equiom Supports Jersey Premier Brass on Their Journey to the National Championships

Equiom is proud to announce its sponsorship of Jersey Premier Brass (JPB), supporting the Island’s only contesting brass band as they prepare to represent Jersey at the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain this September.
Following their outstanding success at the London and South Counties Regional Championships in March, where they won First Place in the 2nd Section, Best Trombone Section, and the Conductor’s Award, JPB has secured a coveted place at the National Finals. The event, held at Cheltenham Racecourse on 13 and 14 September 2025, will see JPB compete against winners and runners-up from across the UK, aiming to be crowned National Champions.
Equiom’s sponsorship will help significantly offset the travel costs associated with attending the Championships, enabling the band to focus on their performance and proudly represent Jersey on the national stage.
Vanessa Blanchet, Executive Director – Corporate Services at Equiom Jersey and a member of JPB, will be among the musicians performing on the national stage.
Commenting on the sponsorship, Vanessa said:
“I am incredibly proud to be part of Jersey Premier Brass and grateful that Equiom is supporting us on this exciting journey. Representing Jersey at a national level is a huge honour, and this contribution will make a real difference in helping us get there.”
Equiom’s support highlights the firm’s commitment to the communities in which it operates, as Vicky Stables, Managing Director of Equiom Jersey, explains:
“As a business with a well-established presence and headquartered in Jersey, we are passionate about giving back to the community and celebrating local talent. Jersey Premier Brass has achieved something remarkable, and we are delighted to play a part in supporting them as they represent our Island on the national stage. We’re especially proud that one of our own, Vanessa, will be performing alongside her fellow musicians.”
Founded in 1997, Jersey Premier Brass has grown into a platform for nurturing musical talent on the Island, performing locally and internationally and providing opportunities for musicians of all ages. Their invitation to the National Championships marks another milestone in their distinguished history.
