Nina Johnston Wins the Isle of Man Director of the Year – Large Business Award
Nina Johnston, Managing Director of Equiom (Isle of Man) Limited, has been named winner of the Institute of Directors (“IoD”) Isle of Man Director of the Year – Large Business award.
The award was announced at the Isle of Man IoD Awards on Friday 19 June, which celebrates leadership excellence across the Island’s business community.
The Large Business award recognises individual leadership excellence and celebrates directors who demonstrate integrity, accountability and a long-term commitment to high standards.
Nina has been with Equiom for more than 20 years and now leads the firm’s Isle of Man business, with responsibility for its strategic direction, operational performance and governance. In her role, she oversees the delivery of services across the business, including Equiom Tax Services Limited, and supports a multidisciplinary team providing specialist professional services to clients in the Isle of Man and internationally. She is also a key contributor to the Group’s executive leadership, collaborating with peers across jurisdictions to drive alignment and execution of the firm’s global priorities.
Her leadership has played an important role in strengthening the focus, resilience and long-term direction of Equiom’s Isle of Man business. With a clear emphasis on governance, accountability and values-led decision making, Nina has helped shape a more aligned and sustainable business while supporting the development of a high-performing team culture.
The recognition reflects both Nina’s personal contribution and the strength of the Isle of Man team she leads.
