Alex is a senior member of the Equiom Tax Services Limited team and oversees the delivery of UK Corporation Tax compliance services and tax advice to clients. In particular, he advises on all aspects of UK and Isle of Man corporate tax and property tax issues.
Alex supports companies and their shareholders across various industries, providing guidance on group reorganisations, tax structuring, transaction advice, de-enveloping, Corporate Interest Restriction, Capital Gains Tax exemption elections, Economic Substance, and tax compliance obligations. Additionally, he assists with UK and Isle of Man taxation matters for individuals and double taxation relief within the team.
Alex has more than 11 years' experience in UK and Isle of Man taxation, and specialises in UK property taxation and Corporation Tax, as well as Isle of Man corporate taxation.
He holds an honours degree in Accountancy and Finance from Bangor University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
