Naveed Shah  ACA

Naveed is Chief Risk Officer at Equiom and a key member of the Global Executive Committee. He leads the Compliance and Risk Management function, overseeing a team across multiple jurisdictions. His primary responsibility is to ensure an effective risk management strategy is in place, enabling the identification, management, and mitigation of risks across the organisation.

With nearly 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Naveed brings a wealth of expertise to his role, ensuring Equiom continues to meet the highest standards of risk management and compliance. Prior to joining Equiom, he served as Head of UK & CEEMEA Compliance and Operational Risk at Bank of America, where he played a key role in managing regulatory and operational risk across complex regions.

Naveed began his career at Deloitte and has since held senior Risk, Control, and COO roles at major global institutions such as HSBC, JP Morgan, and UBS. He holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Bristol and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
