Ben McLean  

Ben specialises in the management and oversight of complex client structures with multifaceted assets across various jurisdictions, with his recent focus being as Equiom’s lead person on the implementation and ongoing oversight of the DEWS plan relationship, for which Equiom are the appointed Master Trustee. 

Ben has more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry, 10 of these being with Equiom (Isle of Man) Limited. As an authorised individual with the regulator, he sat on the board of client entities, including a number of Isle of Man registered companies that sit within the group of a large multi-national bank, in addition to investment holding companies (including UK commercial/residential property) and other SPVs. He also acted as the relationship lead for a multitude of significant trust structures set up for Asset protection and succession planning purposes in the Isle of Man.

Ben also has experience in the Business sector, managing Equiom’s eBusiness function which includes overseeing licence applications & renewals to the Isle of Man, UK and Ireland gaming commissions, together with the day to day operations of managing those licence holders. 

He is an affiliate member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
