Equiom (Luxembourg) S.A. was formed via the acquisition of the well-established corporate and fund services business, Carey S.A. in December 2017. This acquisition allowed Equiom to further expand our professional service offering with the addition of an experienced fund services capability and also our global reach with this new office location.

Fund services
Fund administration services for regulated and un-regulated fund structures including SIF, RAIF, EUVECA, SCS/SCSp and Securitisation Vehicles.
- Administration of open ended and closed ended alternative asset class funds including private equity, venture capital, real estate, infrastructure and fund of hedge funds
- Central administrative agent; NAV calculation, regulatory reporting and annual accounts

Company services
Corporate services for listed and unlisted legal entities, including holding and financing companies (Soparfis), private real estate structures, unregulated closed ended investment entities and trading companies
- Incorporation: set-up legal entities; liaise with notary, local banks and other professionals; coordinate relations with local tax authorities
- Domiciliation: provide legal entities with a registered office; organise board meetings and shareholders’ meetings; provide various administrative services
- Management: provide directors, managers and authorised officers
- Administration: handle day-to-day corporate operations and follow-up with other parties involved
- Accounting: maintain company records; prepare periodical reports; prepare statutory financial reports; liaise with auditors
- Tax services: prepare VAT returns and maintain VAT records; prepare corporate tax returns; prepare FATCA/CRS reports; coordinate with external tax advisors as needed; maintain relevant contacts with local or foreign tax authorities or tax representatives as appropriate
- Liquidation services: act as liquidator or provide assistance to liquidator with all legal requirements; liaise with independent legal and tax specialists as needed; liaise with notary; inform relevant third parties as needed (including, but not limited to banks and tax authorities)
