Equiom Update: COVID-19

As the circumstances with the coronavirus outbreak are developing rapidly, please rest assured that our robust business continuity plans are well underway, we are monitoring the situation closely and reviewing our plans in response to the situation regularly. 

As things stand we are well prepared for any escalation made by any of the national Governments in the jurisdictions in which we operate and will follow the guidance given as it is released.

Alongside client service, the welfare of our staff is our key priority and we are looking at a variety of solutions to ensure we’re able to keep them safe from harm whilst maintaining our high level of service to you our clients.

To this end we are already working remotely in a number of offices:

Europe

  • Isle of Man – All staff working remotely where possible from 23 March
  • Jersey – All staff working remotely from 23 March
  • Guernsey – All staff working remotely from 23 March
  • Scotland – All staff working remotely where possible from 23 March
  • Luxembourg – All staff working remotely where possible from 23 March
  • Monaco – All staff working remotely where possible from 17 March until further notice
  • Malta – All staff working remotely from 17 March until further notice

Middle East

  • Links Group (Dubai) – Office closed, all staff working remotely where possible from 23 March
  • Links Group (Abu Dhabi) – Office closed, all staff working remotely where possible from 23 March
  • DIFC – All staff working remotely from 15 March until further notice
  • Qatar – All staff working remotely until further notice

Asia

  • Hong Kong – Business as usual with all recommended precautionary measures in place
  • Singapore – Split teams in operation
  • Japan – Business as usual with all recommended precautionary measures in place

Americas

  • Canada – As a cloud-based business all staff work remotely as a matter of course

Although all business travel has been halted, we have all the technology we need in order to conduct successful and productive meetings remotely, either by video or audio conference.

We will keep all our stakeholders informed of any actions we decide to take in response to this developing situation that may impact them.
