‘Corporate Housekeeping’ - Re-domiciliation of Equiom Group Holding Companies

Equiom Group is re-domiciling its corporate structure of holding companies from the Isle of Man to Jersey, subject to necessary consents.

Equiom Group CEO Mark Porter comments: ‘We remain fully committed to our presence and our employees in the Isle of Man and indeed fully expect client growth in the jurisdiction where we have serviced clients for so many years. The Isle of Man holds a number of attractions for our clients and we have no desire to dilute that proposition’.

Commenting further Porter said: ‘While the Isle of Man has long been the centre of gravity for us as a group, today the majority of our executive team is based outside the Isle of Man, principally in Jersey and as a consequence Jersey now represents the ‘substance’ of the Group’s management. To all intents and purposes therefore, we consider this to be a corporate housekeeping matter.’

Established in the Isle of Man in 1978, Equiom now has a truly global footprint with 18 offices around the world and employs close to 600 staff. In Jersey, Equiom employs 55 people and 150 in the Isle of Man.
