Ritesh Bharadava  

Ritesh joined Equiom in December 2021 as a Senior Governance Risk and Compliance Advisor. Ritesh has over 16 years of in-depth insurance (life, general and takaful) experience in compliance, AML, sanctions, data privacy, governance, and risk. He has worked with a wide range of regulators, including the Central Bank of UAE, the Dubai International Financial Centre, the Abu Dhabi Global Market, and the Dubai Health Authority to name a few.

Before joining Equiom, Ritesh was working with AXA Insurance GULF as the Regional Data Protection Officer and Senior Compliance Manager looking after four jurisdictions, UAE, Bahrain, Oman, and Qatar, along with supporting AXA GCIC (life insurance listed company in Abu Dhabi) and AXA KSA. He was also an Authorised Compliance and MLRO in Qatar Financial Centre for AXA.  

Ritesh holds a PG Diploma in Business Management (specialist in Finance) and holds international and local certifications in AML and Compliance from the Chartered Institute from Securities & Investment, the International Compliance Association – UK, the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance, and the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance.
