Manager - Client Accounting

Job purpose & overall objective
The main objective of this role is to deliver high quality accounting services to Equiom's clients in Japan. Responsibilities will include communicating with clients directly on all accounting issues and administrative matters including set-up, billing and collections. Duties will also include supervising subordinates and reviewing their work to ensure accuracy, reviewing management and statutory accounts, preparing and actioning the monthly payroll and other expense disbursements.
Are you the person for this role?
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role and ideally hold a relevant accounting qualification. Excellent communication skills including written and spoken Japanese and English are essential. Previous experience working in a fiduciary environment and knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision are desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
