Equiom announces senior promotions

Equiom, the international professional services provider has announced some key changes within its senior management team.

Derek Vaz will take up the position of Global Chief Financial Officer and Jeremy Evans will move from that role into the newly created role of Global Head of M&A and Organic Growth. The changes come as a result of Equiom’s significant recent growth and future plans for expansion.

Derek joined the business in January as Deputy CFO, having worked for over 20 years in the financial services industry in senior positions within Lloyds Banking Group and KPMG. He has since helped to guide the business through expansion into new jurisdictions and service areas while developing the Group’s ongoing financial strategy. In his new role, he will have primary responsibility for the company’s global finance functions including IT and Change as well as Global Data Governance.

Jeremy has been at Equiom since 2008. He has been instrumental in leading the overall financial strategy to ensure profitability and played a key role in developing the company’s presence in Asia. In his new role, Jeremy will focus on Equiom’s acquisition and integration activity with responsibility for the company’s acquisitive and organic growth strategy. He will also manage Equiom’s global organic growth teams in Europe, the Middle East, North and South Asia and the Americas.
