Decoding the latest UK property tax changes evening symposium, Japan

Equiom will host its first UK tax seminar in Japan on 13 September 2018, at the prestigious Tokyo American Club, 19:30 – 20:30 with food and drinks.

Equiom at the symposium 

Representatives from Equiom’s Isle of Man headquarters, including Helen Woods, Managing Director of Equiom Solutions and Glenn Cassidy, Senior Tax Consultant of Equiom Solutions will give a presentation on UK residency and the key areas to consider regarding the latest tax updates.

Helen will give a brief overview of the UK residence issues, the concept of domicile, its importance and the pre-return planning for expatriates who intend to move back to the UK. Glenn will detail the implications of the recent UK Inheritance Tax (IHT) changes and look at the impact of the draft UK tax legislation which was released in early July 2018.

The team will be available to discuss tax and VAT information and other specialist services provided by the Isle of Man Equiom Solutions teams afterwards.
