We are recruiting for a Senior Corporate Accountant in our Luxembourg office.
Job purpose & overall objective
This role involves supporting the corporate accounting team with the provision of high quality financial management and tax reporting services delivered to a portfolio of clients active in different sectors. Key responsibilities will include supporting the delivery of corporate accounting needs as directed by the Head of Corporate Services. The Senior Corporate Accountant will manage a diverse portfolio of clients and be involved in the complete accounting process for Luxembourg SOPARFIs, including periodic financial reports, annual accounting and tax reporting (CIT and VAT declarations). Other responsibilities will include coaching and supervising accountants within the team and coordinating and reviewing workflow, ensuring internal controls are operating effectively.
Are you the person for this role?
The successful candidate will hold an industry relevant qualification (e.g. BA or MA in finance or accounting) and have a minimum of 3 years' experience working in a similar role within the corporate services or financial services industry. Knowledge of Luxembourg's Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and tax regulations, proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and finance software is essential. The candidate must be highly organised, detail oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills and an ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. Fluency in English and French is essential, other languages are advantageous.
