Manager - Client Accounting

We are recruiting for a Manager - Client Accounting in our Singapore office.


Job purpose and overall objective

To deliver high quality accounting services to Equiom's clients in Singapore.

Main or key responsibilities

  • Managing current and prospective client queries
  • Planning and information gathering for the purpose of meetings with clients
  • Drafting financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)/International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Preparing financial statements in eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) format 
  • Managing all aspects of Goods and Services Tax (GST)
  • Calculating tax and preparing returns for statutory tax filings
  • Liaising, coordinating and following-up with clients on technical accounting and tax related matters
  • Coaching and reviewing team members to maintain and deliver high quality value-added financial support to clients

Essential experience and qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience 
  • A relevant qualification (e.g. degree in Finance/Accounting, ACCA)
  • An ICSA professional membership
  • Excellent technical knowledge in Singapore companies accounting regulatory requirements and the Singapore tax regime
  • Ability to handle full sets of accounts and payroll (fund administration is an added advantage)

Desirable experience and qualifications

  • Prior experience in Quickbooks and Xero Accounting Software
